Courtney began playing competitive basketball in the 8th grade.  She has played the past three seasons for the Puget Sound Flight AAU program and was the leading scorer for the elite level Gold team last season.  Courtney is an aggressive, tireless, extremely well conditioned, high energy player.  A real gym rat, she works tirelessly to continue to improve her game.  This season Courtney led the Redmond (WA) Mustangs team in both scoring (17.0) and rebounding (7.3) in garnering her 2nd consecutive team MVP award.  She was also named the MVP in the Capital City Classic in Juneau, Alaska, helping Redmond to the tournament championship. She led the KingCo 4A league in scoring and was in the top 5 overall in rebounding, FG percentage and FT percentage as well as in the top 10 for 3Pt FG% and steals.  She was named 1st team All-league KingCo 4A.

Last year, in her first year of varsity eligibility, she was the second leading scorer, 10.8 PPG and leading rebounder, 7.5 RPG, for the Mustangs.   Courtney was awarded Redmond Varsity’s MVP award.  She led all 1st year eligible players in scoring average in the KingCo 4A Conference where she was the 12th leading scorer and 7th leading rebounder overall.

Courtney was also a member of the National Honors Society, the Girl Scouts and does volunteer work with autistic children.  When she isn’t playing basketball, Courtney enjoys spending time with her friends, family and working out with Mike Lawson at the RAC.
