In her third year of varsity basketball for the Roosevelt Roughriders, Shannon's team won the conference championship for the second year in a row and rallied after an opening round upset in the State Tournament to finish with a 4A fifth place trophy and 25-2 season record.  Shannon's ball handling and tenacious defenses were instrumental to the basketball team's success.  Shannon is also an All League soccer player and was captain of her high school soccer team, while her Premier 1 soccer career includes an MVP award and three state championships.  Shannon's athleticism makes her a force both on the court and on the field.  In the classroom, Shannon has a 4.0 GPA and hopes to one day write for a living.
