I began my basketball career in the first grade at the local Boys and Girls clubs. I played select basketball from fifth grade (on the sixth grade team) up through eighth grade, and I played on numerous AAU teams during that time as well, including the Seattle Magic, Seattle Reds, Yakima Elite. The highlight of my AAU career was playing in the national tournament in Orlando Florida in 2002, and being selected to the all tournament team at the Oregon City Tournament Last summer. At Bellevue High School I made the Varsity team my freshman year and we placed fifth in the state tournament. I have been a starting guard for the past two seasons. This year I averaged 9.2 points per game, and earned Honorable Mention all league in the very competitive Kingco Conference. I also have been a team leader on my schools junior varsity soccer team for three years. In addition to Athletics, I work hard in the classroom as well, where I have earned a 3.4 cumulative GPA. This year I will continue to work hard preparing for my senior season, and hope I am able to reach my dream of becoming a college basketball player.
