Jackie started playing basketball in the 2nd grade.  Jackie enjoys playing any sport, but basketball is her first love and volleyball is her second.  Her Redmond basketball teams have been highly successful, winning over a hundred games in the last 3 years, and her volleyball teams were undefeated.  Jackie is a member of the National Honor Society, was the Parliamentarian for the Honor Society in her freshman year, and volunteers at Emerald Heights retirement center.  She currently maintains a 3.9 grade point average in the honor's program.  She is a Gold Presidential Academic Award recipient and attended Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth at UCSC in 2000 and 2002.
