Beth Johnson is a
multi sport athlete, lettering at Kentwood High School in basketball, soccer
and tennis. She is a two year starter(10 and 11th) for her high school
basketball team, playing forward. Her strengths are defense and rebounding.
She holds the school record for single game rebounds with 20. Beth was named
South Puget Sound League North Division Honorable Mention in 2006.
She helped her high
school basketball team to its first League Champioship, 3rd place District
finish and first ever State 4A Basketball Tournament appearance.
This is her second
year playing basketball for Puget Sound Flight.
She is a 3 year letter
winner in soccer (9th, 10th and 11th grade) and co-captain of the 2005 team
earning First Team All League Defense Selection, and First Team All Area
Defender. Her high school team was league champions and played in the state
play-offs.
In her spare time,
Beth enjoys practicing basketball, lifting weights and church activities. In
addition, she referees youth basketball and soccer games.
