I've been playing basketball since 4th grade and have played many sports along the way. I was involved with soccer, softball, volleyball, and track throughout middle school, and since I've got to high school I've continued playing volleyball and basketball. I'm playing Volleyball currently playing the outside hit position and in basketball, I'm playing guard and forward. I've been on varsity for volleyball for 2 years now and basketball since I was a freshman. I've received an honorable mention in both volleyball and basketball in my Sophomore year and also received the most inspirational award for basketball that year. In my senior year, I will be a captain for volleyball for my first year and it will be my second year of being a captain for basketball. I've played for two other teams being the Hoopaholics for 5 years and Hoopgurlz for three years. With the Hoopaholics we were competitors at Nationals in Utah and in Orlando and I've helped Hoopgurlz to several tournament championships. I am involved in Link Crew, helping out the freshman, and Honor Society. I've maintained a 4.0 since 7th grade and like to challenge myself with tough courses such as Chemistry and Psychology. In sophomore year, I was one of 5 outstanding sophomores, based on involvement in school and grades. I love volunteering with children and am currently mentoring/tutoring 2nd graders at a nearby elementary school. My favorite basketball player in Michael Jordan, and now Tracy McGrady. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family and could go without a TV before my radio!
